The Davinci code opportunity

Welcome to my blog, I guess you are wondering where is "The palace of pleasure"? The palace is my mind, and it’s a pleasure to share my thoughts with you. You see its all about me, (I always wanted to say that) don’t tune out yet. Well let’s get it on. Why is everyone so upset about the Da Vinci code, there is are a variety of opinions on the subject and people are starting to position themselves on various sides of the fence . Some Christians are distressed at the potential of crowds of parishioners leaving the church in droves; I see it as an opportunity for folks to finally crack open a bible and hopefully do some research about the history of the Christian church, the good, the bad and the ugly...

Christians can be their worst and best examples of love, to the world based on their conscious behavior. This conscious behavior will either attract or repel people; you know what I’m talking about, look at the various example of Christian love or lack there of, that has been witnessed on the ABC TV show “Wife Swap” over the past year. In a majority of the cases the non Christian showed more love than the Christian and in most cases, the Christians behavior was down right devilish, yes I said it. (Who do you think edited the video outtakes, think about it?) The reality is that once you take a stand, people will weigh and measure everything you do. The DaVinci code will give the christian church the opportunity to reaffirm their membership by disseminating relevant knowledge (weigh) to the congregation or potentially lose the fence sitters, the Luke warm water tasters and the uncommitted bench sitters http://www.knowjesusnosecrets.com/ is a good start for knowledge). They come to church out of obligation and for social or networking opportunities. The reality is that those fence-sitters may comprise a majority of the current parishioners. That’s the reality, that’s the fear, that’s the weakness and that’s the threat (measure).

So how do you get these fence sitter to commit? Me thinks (I like Shakespeare) a good attack solidifies the base. Look at Pearl Harbor and the World trade center attacks. My thought is the DaVinci code now symbolizes a similar attack in the minds of some christians, and it should solidify the fence sitter to finally pick a side and that’s a good thing.

When I go to war I want to look back and believe that my unit is committed to accomplish the mission. When I look back, I also want to know that they have gained the proper training and the proper tools to accomplish the mission. An idiot with a gun and no training behind you is more dangerous than an enemy in the distance, why should the church be any different.
